Karperskuyl
If you sail through the Binnenhaven port you will reach Otto's bridge. Behind the bridge there is a small but pleasant harbour: the Karperskuyl. Members of the water sports club De Karperskuyl serve the bridge and the harbour mainly has fixed berths. For passers-by, a temporary stay in the Karperskuyl is not usual. There are no specific facilities for passers-by in this port. The well-known Ports of Hoorn concerts are a major annual event in this port, which usually take place on the first weekend of September. Well-known and less well-known artists perform on a large ship in the Karperskuyl, while the audience watches from small boats or from the quay.
